Free sound card recorder?
I need a free sound recorder so I can record sounds playing from my computer.. Is there one that doesn’t make you buy it after x days or anything of that nature?

I already have Audacity, is there a feature in Audacity that will let me record the sound coming from my computer and how?
Here’s how in Audacity.
At the top right of the program is a drop down list.
Click on the arrow and select (depending on your sound card) “stereo mix” or “what you hear”.
When you click the record button anything playing on the computer will be recorded.
The recording level might need to be adjusted if the sound is distorted.
Click and hold on the slider to the left of the drop down list and drag it to the left to lower the input.
You might need to go as low as 0.2.
