Why does the music stop playing on my BlackBerry every time I play BrickBreaker?

Hi, I have a Blackberry Curve 8310 for AT&T with the latest firmware that I have had for a few months. Recently, when I have been trying to play BrickBreaker in the phone while playing music from a Micro SD card, the game freezes for about a milisecond and then stops playing the music. This has become annoying because it was very convenient before to do the two simultaneously.
